The effect of normotensive arterial pressure on cerebral saturation during carotid endarterectomy

چکیده
Aim: Monitoring of cerebral perfusion during carotid endarterectomy helps to institute early intervention prevent risk ischemia the operation.
We aimed evaluate if disadvantages high systemic pressure can be avoided by keeping arterial blood below 150mmHg cross-clamping internal artery correlating our findings NIRS values with clinical results
Material and Method: This was designed as a prospective study that included elective patients scheduled for an operation stenosis under general anesthesia. A total 60 operated on between August October 2019 were in study.
Results: Patients' right left hemispheres analyzed separately able differentiate any possible changes hemisphere ipsilateral clamped artery. The analysis these revealed significant decrease intubation incision (p=0.008 p= 0.02respectively). Conclusion: Considering observations postoperative period, we think ICA operations may safe perform suitable patient group while systolic is maintained cross-clamping.

THE EFFECT OF ARTERIAL O2 SATURATION AND HE ART RATE ON BLOOD PRESSURE DURING HYPOXIA
A periodic increase in blood pressure (BP) occurs during apneic episodes in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Several factors including hypoxemia and an increase in heart rate (HR) were reported to be responsible for this increased BP. To examine the contribution of these two factors in increasing BP, 35 healthy male subjects (mean age±SD= 23.64±3.80) were studied in three experi...

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
Cerebral protection during carotid endarterectomy.
Cerebral Protection During Carotid Endarterectomy • Carotid endarterectomy was performed on 73 occasions using the following regimen during the operative period: (1) general anesthesia with normothermia, (2) maintaining a normal or slightly elevated arterial oxygen tension (Pao,, (3) maintaining a normal or low arterial carbon dioxide tension (Pco,), (4) maintaining systemic arterial pressure (...
متن کاملCerebral monitoring during carotid endarterectomy--a comparison between electroencephalography, transcranial cerebral oximetry and carotid stump pressure.
OBJECTIVE Various modalities are used for cerebral monitoring during carotid endarterectomy (CEA). The aim of this study was to evaluate whether transcranial cerebral oximetry (TCO) and carotid stump pressure (SP) are as accurate as electroencephalography (EEG) for monitoring cerebral ischaemia during carotid cross-clamping. METHODS One hundred consecutive patients who underwent CEA were stud...
